Tim Hessinger spent 15 years in the State Attorney's office and was in the Major Crime Division - Special Prosecution Unit for eight years. During his years at the State Attorney's Office, Tim handled major cases including capital murder, serial rape, shaken baby deaths, theft rings, firearm crimes, career criminal cases, sexual predator cases, and many other cases that garnered significant media attention.
Shortly before going into private practice in 2005, Tim was recognized as Prosecutor of the Year. Tim Hessinger opened his criminal defense practice in February of 2005 and put his experience gained from years of prosecuting cases to work for his clients in the Tampa Bay area.
